Dr. Tanya Maximoff
Dr. Tanya Maximoff is a chiropractic specialist with a diverse background, enabling her to fully partner with patients on their road to recovery from accidents, sports injuries, or the pain and discomfort typical of today’s hectic, stress-laden lifestyles. Dr. Maximoff received her Doctor or Chiropractic Degree from Life University and completed an additional 100 hours of training to earn certification as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P). She is also certified in Active Release Technique (ART), a musculoskeletal release technique and a valuable complement to traditional chiropractic.
At Life University, Dr. Maximoff was immersed in student life and took on many leadership roles: most notably, she was president of student council and president of the chiropractic sorority. In those roles Dr. Maximoff immersed herself in the rich chiropractic community surrounding the school and helped encourage that community to work more closely with the 28 percent of the student population that was female – an all-time high. Dr. Maximoff continues to value the importance of education and frequently pursues certifications, seminars, and techniques to stay current in the field of chiropractic medicine and holistic health. Most recently, Dr. Maximoff trained with Dr. Jeff Spencer on the use of cold laser therapy. Dr. Spencer developed many of the most effective techniques for the use of cold lasers and gained national and international recognition as a member of Lance Armstrong’s health team for seven Tour de France competitions.
